"Pupils are percieved as different or heterogeneous today and concepts of individualised education try to serve these diagnosis. Therefore this article focusses on processes of doing difference and their observability in school from an empirical point of view. Contrasting videographed sequences of teamwork among pupils of two different classes in an individualised setting allows reconstructing leading norms of school performance and collegiality. Even for pupils acting towards oneanother the logic of performance and achievement is dominant for making differences, because their actions are serving performance requirements."
