Der Beitrag geht den Potenzialen des 'Integrativen Basisverfahrens' nach Jan Kruse für die erziehungswissenschaftliche Forschung nach. In der Auseinandersetzung mit den methodologischen Grundlagen und der Vorgehensweise des Verfahrens sowie seiner Anwendung in der Forschungspraxis wird diskutiert, wie im Anschluss an Kruse den Herausforderungen einer erziehungswissenschaftlichen qualitativen Forschung begegnet werden kann. Daran anschließend geht der Beitrag möglichen Gründen dafür nach, dass das Verfahren im erziehungswissenschaftlichen Methodenrepertoire bislang kaum präsent ist, was neben seinen Potenzialen auch auf mögliche Restriktionen des Verfahrens und offene Fragen hindeutet.... view less

The article explores the potential of Jan Kruse's 'integrative basic procedure' for research in educational science. In dealing with the methodological foundations and the procedure of the method as well as its application in research practice, we discuss how, by following Kruse, the challenges of qualitative research in educational science can be met. Subsequently, the article explores possible reasons for the fact that the method is hardly present in the repertoire of methods in educational science, which, besides its potential, also points to possible restrictions of the method and open questions.... view less
