Der Beitrag analysiert sie aus politischer, fachdidaktisch konzeptioneller, fachwissenschaftlicher, curricularer und medialer Perspektive und fragt: Welche Akteurgruppen prägen das Feld, und was wollen sie erreichen? There is a continuing debate on socio/economic education in schools. The paper analyses this debate from political, subject-didactic and conceptual, scientific, curricular and media perspectives. Its key questions are: Which groups of actors shape the field, what are their main goals? What are the educational aims of socio-economic education? What are the main deficits of prevalent approaches to economic education? Do they sufficiently orient themselves towards thescientific state of the art? Do they consider knowledge from the broad field of political economy, theory of economic policy and macroeconomics? In which way is knowledge from this field represented in the core curricula of relevant school subjects? Which actors are pushing teaching resources from outside into the schools and which strategies are applied? How do teachers handle this issue?... view less
