Mit dem Programm "Unsere Arbeit: Unsere Vielfalt. Initiative für betriebliche Demokratiekompetenz (BDK)" fördert das Bundesministerium für Arbeit und Soziales (BMAS) Projekte, die die betriebliche Demokratiekompetenz gegen Rechtsextremismus und Rassismus stärken sollen. Die vorliegende Evaluation untersucht die Wirkung und identifiziert zentrale Learnings aus den Projekten, die für zukünftige Maßnahmen wertvolle Erkenntnisse bieten können. Ein besonderes Augenmerk wurde auf die Erfahrungen der Teilnehmenden an den Workshops und Angeboten der Projekte gelegt, um deren Wirksamkeit zu bewerten. Die Evaluation stützt sich auf ein zweifaches methodische Vorgehen - qualitative Projektauswertungen und quantitative Teilnehmerbefragungen - und leitet sechs Thesen für die Gestaltung zukünftiger Maßnahmen mit ähnlicher Zielsetzung ab.... view less

With the programme "Our Work: Our Diversity. Initiative for Democratic Competence in the Workplace (BDK)", the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS) has been funding a total of 34 projects between 2021 and 2024 that aim to strengthen democratic competence in the workplace against right-wing extremism and racism. The present evaluation examines the impact of and identifies key lessons learned from the projects, which provide valuable insights for future funding lines. To this end, eleven projects were analysed in order to learn from their concepts, approaches and experiences about success factors and obstacles to achieving the objectives. In addition, special attention was paid to the experiences of participants in the workshops and to the projects' offerings in order to assess their effectiveness. Based on this dual methodological approach - qualitative project evaluations and quantitative participant surveys - the evaluation derives six propositions for the design of future funding lines with similar objectives.... view less
