Methodische Reflexionen zur Forschung in Institutionen – Phänomenspiegelungen als Erkenntnisinstrument

Abstract

In meinem Dissertationsprojekt zu Bürokratie-Phänomenen habe ich verschiedene Erfahrungen mit unterschiedlichen Institutionen sammeln können. Diese Erfahrungen möchte ich in methodischer Hinsicht reflektieren und als Phänomenspiegelungen erkenntnis-produktiv werden lassen. In einem kurzen sozialgeschichtlichen Rekurs auf die Entstehung von Institutionen (FOUCAULT, GOFFMAN) werden diese in ihren Grenzdynamiken konzeptuell entwickelt und in Beziehung gesetzt zu Akten, die im Alltag jeder Institution eine Rolle spielen. Dabei wird die Akte als Institution in der Institution so beschrieben, daß u.a. ihre Kontrollfunktion deutlich werden kann.

During my dissertation project on phenomenon in bureaucracy, I collected differing experiences at various institutions. By reflecting these experiences methodologically, I would like to show how effective reflecting phenomena is as a means of knowledge acquirement. Institutions within their dynamic boundaries will be conceptually developed by using a short analysis of social history (FOUCAULT, GOFFMAN) particularly on institutional origination. This was set in relation to files that play an important role in daily institutional routine. At the same time the control function of the file, as institution within the institution, is made plainly recognisable.

Durante mi proyecto de disertación sobre el fenómeno de la burocracia, recogí diversas experiencias en diferentes instituciones. Para reflejar estas experiencias metodológicamente, me gustaría mostrar como la reflexión sobre los fenómenos es un medio eficaz para la adquisición de conocimiento. Dentro de sus límites dinámicos, las instituciones conceptualmente serán desarrolladas utilizando un breve análisis de su historia social (FOUCAULT, GOFFMAN) en particular sobre el origen institucional. Esto fue puesto en relación con los archivos que juegan un papel importante en la rutina institucional cotidiana. Al mismo tiempo la función de control del archivo, como institución dentro de la institución, se mantiene claramente reconocible.
