In den Jahren 2003 bis 2014 untersuchte der DFG-Sonderforschungsbereich 597 "Staatlichkeit im Wandel" in über 20 Teilprojekten die Transformation der Staatlichkeit in der OECD-Welt. Der folgende Beitrag unternimmt den Versuch eines Resümees der gemeinsamen Forschungsarbeit. Dabei werden zunächst das Forschungsprogramm und zentrale Ergebnisse der zwölf Jahre Forschung vorgestellt. Anschließend werden die Einzelergebnisse aus der letzten Phase (2011-2014) zur Analyse der Wirkungen der neuen Konstellation von Staatlichkeit zu einem vorläufigen Befund zusammengefasst.... view less

Between 2003 and 2014 the research of the Collaborative Research Center 597 on the Transformations of the State, with major funding from the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, focused in more than 20 research projects on the transformations of the state in the OECD world. The article attempts to provide a summary of the research findings by firstly introducing the general research program for the twelve years and, secondly, by detailing the results of the last phase of research (2011-2014) which focused on the effects of the transformations on the provision of public goods.... view less
