Praxeologische Wissenssoziologie

Abstract

Die Praxeologische Wissenssoziologie versteht sich in der Tradition Karl Mannheims, in der eine fundierte Sozial- oder Grundlagentheorie ohne eine (sozialwissenschaftlich begründete) Erkenntnistheorie und Methodologie nicht denkbar ist. Zugleich ist dies auch Voraussetzung für eine Theoriegenerierung nicht nur in gegenstandsbezogener Hinsicht, sondern auch im Bereich der Grundlagenkategorien, der Meta-Theorie, selbst. Und der empirische Zugang zur Seinsverbundenheit des Wissens ermöglicht die Theoriegenerierung auch im Bereich der sozialen Lagerung, also von Milieus, in deren mehrdimensionalen Ausprägungen (u.a. Bildung, Geschlecht und Generation) und in einer Mehrebenenanalyse (Interaktion, Organisation und Gesellschaft). Eine der elementaren Leitdifferenzen der Praxeologischen Wissenssoziologie, ist diejenige der Sozialität des Kommunikativen versus Konjunktiven im Sinne Mannheims und des Ikonografischen versus Ikonologischen im Sinne von Panofsky. Diese Leitdifferenz kann durch die Unterscheidung von propositionaler und performativer Logik, d.h. u.a. von Norm und Praxis sowie von Identität und Habitus, und durch die Analyse der Dynamik und Kreativität des Spannungsverhältnisses dieser Differenzen mit Hilfe der Kategorie des konjunktiven Erfahrungsraums auf ein neues Niveau gehoben werden.

The Praxeological Sociology of Knowledge sees itself in the tradition of Karl Mannheim, according to whom a basic social theory is unconceivable without a (social scientific) epistemology and methodology. At the same these are also preconditions for the generation of theories not only in an objectrelated respect but also in the area of basic categories itself. The empirical access to the existential connectedness of knowledge allows the generation of theories also in the area of social location in its multidimensional manifestations (education, gender and generation etc.) and in a multilevel analysis (interaction, organization, society). One of the elementary orientational differentiations of the Praxeological Sociology of Knowledge, is that between the communicative mode of sociality and the conjunctive one in the understanding of Mannheim and between iconography and iconology in the sense of Panofsky. This orientational differentiation could be raised to a new level by distinguishing propositional and performativ logic, norms and practices as well as identity and habitus, and by analyzing the dynamic and creativity of the inherent tensions with each others by the category of the conjunctive space of experience.
