Lehrende an Hochschulen sind zunehmend gefordert, fachliche, theoriebasierte Inhalte mit klar erkennbarem Praxisbezug zu versehen, um die Studierenden bei der Entwicklung beruflich bedeutsamer Kompetenzen zu fördern, die deutlich über ein reines Fach-und Methodenwissen hinausgehen. Hierzu bietet sich in vielen Fachbereichen die Anwendung von Fallstudien oder Rollenspielen an. Im vorliegenden Beitrag wird ein Modul im Management-Studium vorgestellt und kritisch reflektiert, das eine umfangreiche, über zwölfWochen fortschreitende Großstudie narrativ in einem herausfordernden Praxiskontext verankert. Die bisherigen Erkenntnisse und Erfahrungen werden umfassend evaluiert und analysiert. Konsequenzenund Empfehlungen hinsichtlich einer möglichen Übertragung desmultimedial angelegten Konzeptes auf andere Anwendungsfälle schließen sich an.... view less

Teachers at universities are increasingly requiredto provide subject-related, theory-based content with a clearly recognisable practical relevance in order to support students in the development of vocationally significant competencies that go far beyond pure subject and methodological knowledge. In many subject areas, the use of case studies or roleplays is appropriate for that purpose. In this article, a module in a management study programis presentedand critically analysed, which narratively locates an extensive large-scale study, progressing within a whole semester, in a challenging practical context. The previous findings and experiences are comprehensively evaluated and analysed. Consequences and recommendations with regardsto a possible transfer of the multimedia concept to other use cases follows.... view less
