Lokale Infrastruktur für alle Generationen: Ergebnisse aus dem Aktionsprogramm Mehrgenerationenhäuser

Abstract

Der Wandel traditioneller Sozial- und Familienstrukturen ist eine Herausforderung für den Zusammenhalt zwischen den Generationen. "Jung für Alt, Alt für Jung", lautet deshalb das Ziel des Aktionsprogramms Mehrgenerationenhäuser, mit dem der Bund 500 Einrichtungen deutschlandweit gefördert hat. Im Mittelpunkt des Programms steht die Förderung des Miteinanders von Menschen unterschiedlicher Generationen. Der Abschlussbericht stellt die Ergebnisse der programmbegleitenden Wirkungsforschung vor und gibt Anregungen für soziale Einrichtungen, die sich zu Mehrgenerationenhäusern entwickeln möchten. Welche Impulse konnte das Aktionsprogramm setzen? Was zeichnet die Arbeit der geförderten Einrichtungen aus? Welche Antworten konnten auf die veränderten Lebensbedingungen gefunden werden? Der Abschlussbericht erläutert die Steuerung und Kooperationsarbeit der Häuser, identifiziert erfolgreiche Handlungsfelder und analysiert die Nachhaltigkeit der angestoßenen Veränderungen.

"Jung für Alt, Alt für Jung" ("The young for the old, the old for the young"); this is the aim of the action programme multigenerational houses, with the help of which the Federal State funded more than 500 institutions all over Germany up to 2011. The consistent promotion of cooperation between people of different ages lies in the centre of the programme. The services of individual houses as well as the effects of the action programme were analysed regularly. The final report presents the results of the effect research. It describes the stations of one institution on the way towards a multigenerational house, explains the development, direction and cooperation work of the houses, identifies successful fields of action and investigates the entire programme with particular consideration of sustainability aspects.
