Theorietechnische Korrigierungen von Niklas Luhmann's Systemtheorie

Abstract

Drei Grundthesen von Niklas Luhmanns Theorie der funktionalen Ausdifferenzierung werden analysiert. Es wird gezeigt, daß die Grenzen gesellschaftlichen Teilsysteme auf die professionelle Komponente eingeengt werden sollten. In der Studie wird diese Möglichkeit durchgedacht und es wird behauptet, daß sich der Einbau der Kategorie des "Alltagslebens" in die Luhmannsche Theorie neben professionellen Institutionensystemen und die Zweiteilung der Systemebene der Gesellschaft auf diese Weise als umvermeidbar erweisen. Mit dieser Korrigierung kann die Analyse der Moral in der funktional differenzierten Gesellschaft abweichend von Luhmann beantwortet werden und ihren Platz in dem Alltagsleben gefunden werden. Eine weitere Korrigierung bedeutet die Heraushebung zweier Teilsysteme aufgrund ihrem gesamtgesellschaflichen Koordinierungspotential und auf diese Weise kommt eine Asymetrisierung der Teilsysteme zustande. Schließlich wird die Herrschaftsdimension der Gesellschaft neben der funktionalen Sichtweise der Luhmannschen Theorie in die Analyse einbezogen.

Three basic concepts of the system theory of Niklas Luhmann are outlined and as a conclusion it is demonstrated that the structural differentiations of subsytems of society have to be reduced to the level of the systems of professional institutions. After this theoretical change the need for the the category of "every day life" was shown and the conceptual differentiation of society into professional subsystems and every day life was analyzed. With these modifications the role of the morality in the functional differentiated society was given different from the point of view of Luhmann and its place could be found in the structures of every day life. Another modification means the isolation of two subsystems on the ground of their coordination potential of the society and as a consquence the conceptual setting up of asymmetry of social subsystems. At the end the lack of the ruling dimension of the society in the functional system theory of Luhmann is emphasized and the possibility of inclusion of this dimension into this theory is outlined.
