El mito político de la RDA

Abstract

En el presente artículo se explica la creación del mito político a través de la influencia de narraciones e imágenes sobre acontecimientos, personas e ideas como factores que determinan el comportamiento y la orientación de la política. Sus componentes básicos, la política simbólica y la memoria colectiva, fungen como base importante para la consistencia y estabilidad de una comunidad mediante la cohesión y sentimiento de adhesión a grupos políticos. Bajo esta perspectiva se plantea la creación y el derrumbe de la RDA, así como la correlación mito-política de la ésta y su resistencia antifascista.

This article explains how a political myth is created with the help of narratives and imagery about events, persons and ideas that become factors determining the orieniation of political behaviour. Its basic components, the symbolic politics and the collective memory, become the basis of consteney and stability of a commurtity through the cohesión and a feeling of adhe- rence to political groups. Under this perspective, the author approaches on one hand, the emergence and break-down of the former Democratic Republic of Germán and, on the other hand, the correlation between the political myth of the comunist Germán and the anti-fascist resistence.
