The deep suspicion of the whole world playing acts be understood as the thematical entry - in close relation to the work of Erving Goffman - to what is meant by a dramatological perspective on human societal life. From this point of view orders of interaction seem like problems on principle for every participant. That means, actors are asked to interpret situations, to select alternatives of action, and to apply schemas of interpretation in a rather permanent way. The fact that this happens quite normally in a most experienced way does not influence the actors need of acting in a strategical manner. Der Autor entwickelt den dramatologischen Ansatz am besonders "dramatischen" Beispiel des "gemeinen Machiavellismus" und seiner Aktionsform, dem protopolitischen Handeln. Machiavelli hat vor allem eine Deskription der impliziten Regeln der politischen Konstruktion von Wirklichkeit geleistet und somit darauf aufmerksam gemacht, daß das menschliche Zusammenleben aus einer Reihe von "Spielen" besteht, die unterschiedlichen Regeln folgen. Kernpunkt der protopolitischen Handlungslogik ist die Erlangung und Sicherung von "Definitionsmacht". Der gemeine Machiavellismus, so zeigt der Autor, markiert die Diskrepanz zwischen offenkundigem Konventionalismus und impliziten, individuellen Definitionsinteressen. Protopolitisches Handeln als Form sozialen Handelns findet auf allen Ebenen des sozialen Zusammenlebens statt. Der dramatologische Ansatz dient mithin nicht der Kritik von Definitionsmacht, sondern deren struktureller "Ent-Deckung" und analytischer Demaskierung. (ICD)... view less
