Das Konzept des Buen Vivir in der ecuadorianischen Verfassung aus feministischer Perspektive

Abstract

"Die neue ecuadorianische Verfassung hat das Konzept des Buen Vivir, des Guten Lebens, zum Leitmotiv erklärt. Dieser Beitrag untersucht dieses aus einer feministischen Perspektive und lehnt sich dabei an Standpunkte der Care Economy und feministischer politischer Ökonomie an. Einer sozial und ökologisch gerechten, insbesondere einer geschlechtergerechten Gesellschaft wird sich über zwei radikale Neuerungen des Buen Vivir angenähert: die begriffliche Neubestimmung produktiver Arbeit in einem solidarischen Wirtschaftssystem und die Anerkennung von Rechten der Natur. Als entscheidende utopische Methode im Entstehungs- und Umsetzungsprozess des Buen Vivir wird dabei die umfassende Partizipation der Bevölkerung identifiziert. Auch wenn, oder gerade weil, die Politiken bisher nicht auf eine schlüssige Umsetzung hinführen, ist der Transformationsprozess von unten her in vollem Gange." (Autorenreferat)

"Ecuador's new constitution declared the concept of Buen Vivir, of the Good Life, as a leading one. This article examines the concept from a feminist point of view, based on positions of care economy and feminist political economy. A socially and environmentally just society is examined by considering two radical changes in Buen Vivir: the new conceptual definition of work in a solidary economic system and the recognition of rights of the nature. The broad partizipation of the population is identified as a decisive utopian approach in the building and implementation of Buen Vivir. Even though, or solely because, the politics are not leading towards a reasonable implementation until now, the bottom-up transformational process is well underway." (author's abstract)
