Der Beitrag versucht die Frage zu klären, inwiefern es einen fachliterarischen Kanon in der Interkulturellen Bildung gibt und was ihn ausmacht. Zur Beantwortung der Frage wird auf Befunde einer kleinen Umfrage unter Expert_innen der Interkulturellen Bildung im deutschsprachigen Raum zurückgegriffen, die die zehn wichtigsten Texte, die Studierende der Interkulturellen Bildung gelesen haben sollten, nennen sollten. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass das Feld um wenige Autor_innen herum zentriert ist, die v. a. aus den Erziehungswissenschaften stammen, und eine spezielle Textform wissenschaftlicher Publikationen dominiert: das Lehrbuch.... view less

This article intends to question the existence and content of a specialized literary canon in the field of intercultural education. In order to investigate this question a small survey with German speaking experts of intercultural education was carried out. These experts were asked to name the ten most important texts that students of intercultural education need to read in the course of their studies. The results show that the field is centered on a relatively small circle of authors, positioned in education studies, and that a special text type in scientific publications dominates: namely the textbook.... view less
