Im Zentrum des Beitrags steht eine vergleichende Betrachtung des narrativen Interviews sensu Fritz Schütze mit dem problemzentrierten Interview nach Andreas Witzel. Dabei werden vor allem erzähl- und kommunikationstheoretische Positionen einander gegenüber gestellt und die unterschiedlichen Konzeptualisierungen besprochen, die beide Autoren für die Interaktion zwischen Forschenden und Beforschten vornehmen. The contribution will offer a comparative view on the narrative interview (Fritz Schütze) and the problem-centered interview (Andreas Witzel). During this comparison a) the theoretical assumptions are focused regarding to the narrative vs. communication constitution of these different kinds of interviews, and b) the differences are discussed resulting from these assumptions towards the conceptualiziation of the interaction between the researcher and the individuals under research.
