"Im Kontext des lebensbegleitenden Lernens gewinnen sowohl Bildungsberatung als auch 'Fernlernen' zunehmend an Bedeutung. Um Erkenntnisse dazu zu gewinnen, auf welcher Basis Auswahlentscheidungen im Vorfeld der Belegung eines Fernlehrgangs bzw. Fernstudiums zustande kommen, führt das Bundesinstitut für Berufsbildung das Forschungsprojekt 'Personenbezogene (Weiter-)Bildungsberatung im Fernlernen' durch. Im Mittelpunkt der Untersuchungen steht dabei die Perspektive der Nachfragenden. 2009 wurde dazu eine Onlinebefragung von Interessierten und Teilnehmenden an Fernlehrbzw. Fernstudiengängen durchgeführt. In der vorliegenden Publikation werden der bisherige Verlauf des Projektes und erste, auf deskriptiven Analysen beruhende Zwischenergebnisse der Onlinebefragung vorgestellt." "In the context of lifelong learning, both education guidance and distance learning are aspects of increasing importance. To gain insights into the factors on which learners base their choices before taking up a continuing or higher education course by distance learning, the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training is carrying out the research project 'Personalised (Continuing) Education Guidance in Distance Learning'. The research is designed to focus on the viewpoint of prospective learners. To ascertain their views, an online survey was conducted in 2009 among prospective and current participants in continuing and higher education courses by distance learning.
