"Dieser Beitrag beschäftigt sich mit Vorteilen, die für die Untersuchung von sozialen Phänomen aus der Kombination von quantitativen und qualitativen Verfahren erwachsen, und verdeutlicht dies an Beispielen aus der Infertilitätsforschung: Hier wurde erst durch die Verbindung beider Verfahrensgruppen ein Einblick in das Forschungsfeld eröffnet, der breiter und zugleich facettenreicher ist, als es im Falle der Nutzung nur einer Methodologie möglich gewesen wäre.
