Abstract

"Umweltverschmutzung, Urbanisierung sowie die Versorgung der noch immer wachsenden Bevölkerung sind große Herausforderungen für Chinas Nahrungsmittelpolitik im 21. Jahrhundert. Diese Publikation zeichnet verschiedene Aspekte im Zusammenhang mit 'Nahrungsmitteln in China' nach - von der Produktion über den Konsum bis hin zur Entsorgung. Dabei stehen vor allem Food safety und Food security im Mittelpunkt, aber auch Chinas Rolle auf den weltweiten Nahrungsmittelmärkten.
