Stakeholdermanagement: ein monologisches oder dialogisches Verfahren?

Abstract

"Stakeholdermanagement bezeichnet Vorgehensweisen, die von einer komplexen Wahrnehmung der Umwelt (Monolog) bis zur institutionalisierten Einflussnahme von Stakeholdern auf unternehmerische Aktivitäten (Dialog) reichen können. Anhand einer Fallstudie zur Standortwahl für die Produktion des Airbus A380 wird illustriert, dass sich Stakeholdermanagementverfahren abhängig vom Managementziel sowohl im Grad der Kommunikation als auch in Bezug auf die Bedeutung strategischen und kommunikativen Handelns unterscheiden." "Stakeholder management is a term used for a large variety of management approaches. Some companies consider information concerning stakeholders in order to plan their activities. Other companies institutionalize stakeholder dialogs into their regular management process and, thus, allow stakeholder to influence their actions. The article's thesis is that depending on the purpose the degree of communication varies. Four categories of stakeholder management are identified which are either dominated by monologue or dialog and can be differentiated as strategic or communicative action as defined by Habermas (Habermas 1999: 127f.). This distinction is illustrated in a case study of Daimler-Chrysler Aerospace Airbus in Hamburg." (author's abstract)
