Autonomie im Kontext der Entgrenzung von Arbeit und Lebensführung: Entwurf einer sozialphilosophisch begründeten Perspektive

Abstract

Im Rahmen eines sozialphilosophischen Beitrags werden Prozesse der Entgrenzung von Arbeit und Lebensführung erörtert. Es wird gezeigt, dass diese von den Individuen nur dann bewältigt werden können, wenn sie sich dazu autonom verhalten. Autonomie bedeutet in diesem Kontext weniger die Möglichkeit, frei von jeglichen äußeren und inneren Beschränkungen handeln zu können. Vielmehr kommt hier das Moment der Selbstbestimmung oder Selbstgesetzgebung und damit auch der Selbstbegrenzung zum Tragen. Autonomie meint dann die Kompetenz des Einzelnen, aufgrund von selbst gewählten und selbstverpflichtend gültigen Orientierungen, Prinzipien und Werten seinem Leben selbst Gestalt und Form zu geben und dafür bzw. dabei die notwendigen Grenzen nach außen und innen zu setzen.

The starting point of this paper is the process of disenclosure of work and conduct of life. Individuals can only cope with them by acting autonomous in respect of them. Autonomy in the context of this article stands less for acting without any inner and outer restrictions. Rather the moment of self determination and within this field of consideration the moment of defining and limiting the own self is more pointed out. The concept of autonomy represents then the individual competence of shaping and forming her or his life on the basis of self chosen and self obligatory orientations, principles and evaluations. Therefore the individual has to set limits outwards and inwards according to her or his conduct of life.
