"Corporate social reporting is an extended accounting system which assesses not only a firm's financial performance but also it's social performance and responsibilities. This article defines and illustrates the fundamental aims and consequences of corporate social reporting. Typical methods and models of corporate social reporting, as well as the main conceptual and methodological problems of it's development and implementation are presented. An overview is given of the course corporate social reporting has taken to date, followed by an outlook on the new and promising perspectives it will have in the future."
