Der Beginn eines Studiums geht mit einer Reihe von sozioökonomischen und psychosozialen Anforderungen einher, deren Bewältigung mitunter erhebliche Anpassungen von Studierenden erfordert. In den letzten Jahren haben zusätzlich die Auswirkungen der COVID-19-Pandemie weltweit die körperliche und psychische Gesundheit vieler Studierender erheblich belastet. Das EU-geförderte Projekt "MentalHigh" widmet sich der Stärkung psychischer Gesundheitskompetenzen von Studierenden an Universitäten in Vietnam und Kambodscha. Im Sinne eines Setting-Ansatzes soll das Projekt einen Beitrag dazu leisten, umfassendere Transformationsprozesse in den Bildungseinrichtungen anzustoßen und eine gesundheitsfördernde Umgebung zu schaffen, die das Wohlbefinden der Studierenden nachhaltig verbessern soll.... view less

Entering university is associated with various socioeconomic and psychosocial demands, which require students to make considerable adjustments and develop adaptive behaviour to be able to cope. In recent years, the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic also had a significant impact on the mental health of many students worldwide. The EU-funded project "MentalHigh" has set out to strengthen the mental health of students by developing and implementing mental health promotion and prevention activities in Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) in Vietnam and Cambodia.
