"Der Übergang in die Schule wird im Kontext des Transitionsansatzes oft als Problemstelle bezeichnet. In diesem Zusammenhang werden Kooperationsmaßnahmen zwischen Kindergarten und Grundschule zur Erleichterung des Übergangs vorgeschlagen. Der Beitrag analysiert anhand der Daten des KiDZProjekts, für welche Kinder der Übergang in die Grundschule aus Sicht der Eltern problembehaftet ist bzw. wovon eine positive Bewältigung abhängt. Zudem wird geprüft, ob Kooperationsmaßnahmen zwischen Kindergarten und Grundschule sowie die Teilnahme am Modellprojekt KiDZ den Übergang erleichtern. Die Befunde weisen insgesamt nicht auf bedeutsame Übergangsprobleme hin. Kindbezogene Merkmale stellen sich für die Übergangsbewältigung als relevant heraus, wohingegen Kooperationsmerkmale untergeordnet sind." (Autorenreferat)... view less

"The transition to primary school is widely considered as a critical phase in a child’s live, in particular by the transition approach. In this regard, cooperation activities between preschool and primary school are seen as the key factors for a successful school entry. Based on data of the KiDZ-project, this paper analyses from parents’ point of view, which children have problems with the transition to primary school and which factors contribute to a successful school entry. Moreover, it will be examined whether cooperation between preschool and primary school as well as the participation in KiDZ could ease the transition. The results show only very few transition problems. Child-related predictors are considered as relevant factors, whereas cooperation plays a minor role." (author's abstract)... view less
