Der Beitrag widmet sich der Frage, welche psychosoziale Rolle die Bezüge zu "1989", die damit verwobenen apokalyptischen Narrative und Verschwörungsideen auf den Corona- und den nachfolgenden Protesten spielen. Grundlage bildet eine tiefenhermeneutische Fallanalyse. Es zeigt sich, dass die kollektiven Narrative auf den ostsächsischen Protesten einerseits ermöglichen, Aggression kompromisshaft auszuagieren und andererseits dazu beitragen, Ohnmacht, Schwäche und Schuldgefühle abzuwehren. Dass das ideologische Angebot, die Ereignisse um den Gesellschaftszusammenbruch wieder dauerhaft in die Gegenwart zu holen, auf derart fruchtbaren Boden stößt, wird mit der jüngeren deutschdeutschen Geschichte als ambivalenten Erfahrungsraum in Verbindung gebracht. The article investigates the psychosocial role played by references to "1989", the associated apocalyptic narratives and ideas of conspiracy prevalent in the protests against the pandemic measures as well as subsequent protests. The basis is a deep hermeneutic case analysis. It is shown that the collective narratives at the East Saxon protests enable aggression to be acted out in a compromising manner on the one hand and help to ward off feelings of powerlessness, weakness and guilt on the other. The fact that the ideological offering to bring the events surrounding the collapse of society in 1989 back into the present on a permanent basis finds such fertile ground is associated with recent German-German history as an ambivalent space of experience. While the events can be talked about, the emotional relevance is insufficiently processed both socially and individually.... view less
