Theorie und Praxis der Kompetenzfeststellung im Betrieb - Status quo und Entwicklungsbedarf

Abstract

Als Akteure in der beruflichen Bildung sind Betriebe an der Feststellung von Kompetenzen maßgeblich beteiligt und interessiert. Dieser Band zeigt Möglichkeiten auf, wie Kompetenzen und der daraus resultierende Fortbildungsbedarf transparent gemacht werden können. Nach einem Überblick über den Kompetenzbegriff wird der Forschungsstand mit Blick auf die unterschiedlichen Konzepte von Kompetenz und die damit verbundenen Analyse- und Meßmethoden systematisiert. Theorie und Praxis der Kompetenzentwicklung werden anhand von Modellversuchen und Projekten in Betrieben und Organisationen verknüpft.

Skill assessment methods other than traditionally-used examinations and certification are increasingly in demand in day-to-day vocational training practice in enterprises. The question of what vocational training research can contribute to the development of methods that are both reliable and practicable is accordingly also increasingly important. As players in the vocational training field, enterprises play a decisive role in assessing skills. As demanders on the labour market, enterprises are dependent on skill assessments being trustworthy and genuinely informative. The articles in this publication help identify the theoretical foundations, examine the status quo of skill assessment in enterprises and outline practicable solutions and unanswered questions.
