The text in question has some historical riches, while in its first part, it chronologically gives an account of the hydroelectric industry in the country, especially in Medellín, when in 1895 the Compañía Antioqueña de Instalaciones Eléctricas de Medellín was created, where they were combined public and private capital. It also emphasizes the transformations in the use of the waters of the municipality from 1800 to 1920. El texto en cuestión posee unas riquezas históricas, en tanto en su primera parte, da cuenta de manera cronológica de la industria hidroeléctrica en el país en especial en Medellín, cuando en 1895 se crea la Compañía Antioqueña de Instalaciones Eléctricas de Medellín, donde se conjugaron capitales públicos y privados. También hace hincapié en las transformaciones sobre el uso de las aguas del municipio desde 1800 hasta 1920.
