The purpose of the following review article is to unveil the research intentions of different studies and disciplines of knowledge regarding the historical and social understanding of street children in order to recognize this complex and relational reality. In this sense, a hermeneutic exercise was carried out by exhaustively examining 30 national and international articles. The analysis was based on a RAE file and the Atlas Ti. 8 program. This development made it possible to identify that studies on street children have focused on understanding the living conditions, risk factors, social imaginaries, and some indications, which seek possible relationships between education and children, who have gone through this type of experience, by outlining routes that should be taken into account in order to reestablish the right to education, mitigation of illiteracy, uprooting, and educational dropout.... view less

El propósito del siguiente artículo de revisión es develar las intenciones investigativas de diferentes estudios y disciplinas del saber en torno a la comprensión histórica y social de la infancia en situación de calle, para reconocer esta realidad compleja y relacional. En este sentido, se llevó a cabo un ejercicio hermenéutico examinando de manera exhaustiva 30 artículos nacionales e internacionales. El análisis se fundamentó en una ficha RAE y en el programa Atlas Ti. 8. Tal desarrollo posibilitó identificar que los estudios de la infancia en situación de calle se han centrado en entender las condiciones de vida, los factores de riesgo, los imaginarios sociales y algunos indicios que buscan las posibles relaciones entre educación e infancias que han pasado por este tipo de experiencias, delineando rutas que deben ser tenidas en cuenta para reestablecer el derecho a la educación, la mitigación del analfabetismo, el desarraigo y la deserción educativa.... view less
