Without ignoring any of these, the interest of this article is to show the possibilities of promoting sustainable mobility in two Latin American cities, through the use of bicycles, to face these challenges. Relevant policies are found in both cities, with Quito being more generic to the transport sector, although concerned about the issue, and those of Medellin being more specific, but without clear policy instruments.... view less
