 abstract = {Bislang fehlen empirische Daten zur Existenz von Betriebsräten in Start-up-Unternehmen in Deutschland. Die vorliegende Kurzexpertise adressiert diese Datenlücke und nimmt erstmals eine Bestandsaufnahme zur Verbreitung von Betriebsräten in Start-up-Unternehmen in Deutschland vor. Zu diesem Zweck wurde eine zusätzliche Frage zu Betriebsräten in das IAB/ZEW-Gründungspanel aufgenommen, das für neu gegründete Unternehmen in Deutschland repräsentativ ist.There is a lack of empirical data on the existence of works councils in start-up companies in Germany. This report addresses this data gap and, for the first time, provides an overview of the prevalence of works councils in start-up companies in Germany. For this purpose, a new question regarding works councils has been added to a representative survey of newly founded companies in Germany.},
