Thematisierungstabus und Einlasskontrolle im sozialwissenschaftlichen Milieu: eine Moderation

Abstract

Wir bringen zwei neue Beiträge in die FQS-Debatte zu "Erfolgreich Sozialwissenschaft betreiben ...": (1) Einen theoretischen Text, der ein Schweige-Gebot für die sozialen Hintergründe und Interna in der sozialwissenschaftlichen Subkultur aufstellt, (2) eine (literarische) Einzelfall-Geschichte einer Promotion im universitären Dickicht. Die beiden Beiträge sind Ausdruck sehr unterschiedlicher Blickweisen auf das sozialwissenschaftliche Milieu. Sie sind Exempel unserer Intention als Debatten-Moderatoren, diese (kleine) soziale Welt von verschiedenen Beteiligten-Standpunkten aus zu beleuchten und daraus Gewinn zu ziehen für eine systematischere und tiefergehende Aufklärung der sozialen Bedingtheiten sozialwissenschaftlicher Produktion

In this volume, we publish two new contributions to the FQS column "Debate" entitled "Doing Successful Research in the Social Sciences ..." The first text focuses on a theoretical issue, proposing a law of silence concerning the social background and internal processes in the subculture of the social sciences. The second text presents a literary case study of a dissertation in the thickets of university politics. The two contributions are an expression of very different perspectives onto the milieu of social science. They exemplify our, the moderators' intention to illuminate this (small) social-scientific world from different points of view and to take advantage of it for constructing a more systematic and deeper understanding of the social construction of social-scientific knowledge.

En este volumen publicamos dos nuevas contribuciones a la columna FQS "Debate" titulada "Haciendo investigación fructífera en ciencias sociales ...". El primer texto se enfoca en un tema teórico proponiendo una ley del silencio en torno al contexto social y los procesos internos en la subcultura de las ciencias sociales. El segundo texto presenta un estudio de caso literario de una disertación en la espesura de la política universitaria. Las dos contribuciones son una expresión de perspectivas muy diferentes sobre el entorno de la ciencia social. Ellos ejemplifican nuestra intención como moderadores por iluminar este (pequeño) mundo científico-social desde diferentes puntos de vista y tomar ventaja de esto para construir un más sistemático y profundo entendimiento de la construcción social del conocimiento científico-social.
