Abstract

The second volume of the Young Sustainability Law research network focuses on key aspects of the sustainability concept and its practical legal implementation. Critical perspectives on existing sustainability concepts in law are presented and discussed. It explores the extent to which the imprecise sustainability claim can be given concrete contours in material law and enforcement power at the application level, so that law can act as a driver of transformation towards a sustainable society.
