Der Beitrag behandelt die gesetzliche Neuordnung des deutschen Personenstandwechsels und damit verbundene mediale Diskurse um das Geschlechterwissen. Ausgehend von dem geplanten Selbstbestimmungsgesetz werden im medialen Diskurs vor allem identitätspolitische Stimmen aus cisfeministischer und schwul-lesbischer Positionierung präsent, die sich für ein biologistisches Geschlechterwissen einsetzen, das Geschlecht als binär und unveränderlich an körperlichen Markern feststellbar versteht. Die aus dem medialen Diskurs hervorgehenden Desinformationskampagnen erzeugen ein transnegatives Klima und eine moralische Panik. Der Critical Cisness Ansatz soll abschließend unterstützen, die transnegativen Inhalte und dadurch erzeugte Ängste kritisch zu reflektieren.... view less

This article deals with the subject of restructuring of Germany's legal framework regarding changes in one's civil status, along with the corresponding media discussions about gender knowledge. With the forthcoming self-ID law, viewpoints rooted in cisfeminism and the gay-lesbian perspective are gaining prominence in the media discourse. These voices advocate for a biological understanding of gender, perceiving it as a binary concept determined immutably by physical markers. The disinformation campaigns emerging from the media discourse create a transnegative climate and a moral panic. In conclusion, adopting a critical cisness approach will support a critical reflection of the transnegative content and anxieties propagated by it.... view less
