In diesem Artikel werden die Anfänge und die Entwicklung des Master-Studiengangs "Qualitative Forschungsmethoden" an der Polytechnischen Universität Nicaragua beschrieben und kritisch diskutiert. Hintergrund ist die qualitative Analyse von internen und externen Faktoren, die den Wiederanschub, die Entwicklung und den aktuellen Stand des Master-Studiengangs beeinflusst haben und weiter beeinflussen. Im Artikel werden diejenigen Faktoren rekonstruiert, die im Zuge der erneuten Etablierung des Studiengangs wirksam waren. Zusätzlich wird das qualitative Paradigma reflektiert in seiner Bedeutung für die Entwicklung von Strategien, um die komplexe Aufgabe qualitativer Lehre und der Vermittlung von qualitativer Forschungspraxis zu gewährleisten.... view less

This article offers a descriptive and critic analysis of the genesis and evolution of the Master of Science degree in "Methods of Qualitative Social Research," offered by the Polytechnic University of Nicaragua. It is the result of an analysis whose objectives were aimed at rebuilding through the application of qualitative techniques, internal and external factors to University life that have affected and continue to affect the status of the degree program. Es un somero (pero real) análisis, descriptivo y crítico, de la génesis y evolución de la Maestría en Métodos de Investigación Social Cualitativa que se imparte en la Universidad Politécnica de Nicaragua (UPOLI), proceso ubicado dentro de las postrimerías del Siglo XX e inicios del XXI. Es el resultado de un diagnóstico cuyos objetivos, fundamentalmente, fueron orientados a reconstruir desde la aplicación de técnicas cualitativas, algunos factores internos y externos a la vida de la universidad, que han incidido e inciden en el "estado del arte" de la Maestría.
