El análisis retórico/hermeneútico de textos relacionados al consumo del alcohol

Abstract

In diesem Beitrag beschäftige ich mich anhand von 11 Interviews mit Alkoholge- und -missbrauchsmustern. Alle Interviewten leben in San Antonio de los Altos, einer Venezuelanischen Gemeinde. Sie wurden für die Interviews ausgewählt wegen ihrer sehr unterschiedlichen Gebrauchs- und Missbrauchseinstellungen und Bezugnahmen zu der Gemeinde, in der sie leben. Zur Auswertung kam eine rhetorische und hermeneutische Analyse im Anschluss an das von BURKE und BILLIG vorgeschlagene Verfahren zum Einsatz. Ich ende mit einer kurzen Reflexion auf den Zusammenhang zwischen individuellem Alkoholkonsum und lebensweltlichen Umgangsweisen mit Alkohol (HABERMAS). Mögliche Veränderungen in individuellen Mustern werden in Beziehung zu neuen Zugängen zu diesen Lebenswelten gesetzt.

In this paper I analyze 11 interviews carried out with people who use alcohol or are related to people who do so. All the participants are residents of a Venezuelan community, San Antonio de los Altos. I have chosen these particular people because they relate to the use of this substance in varying ways and they have contrasting relationships with others who use it. I use a rhetorical and hermeneutic analysis to create new texts in the senses developed by BURKE and BILLIG. I conclude with a brief reflection on how the different ways that people relate to alcohol are found in their lifeworld (HABERMAS). Changes in this relationship seem to happen through access to new models in this world.

En este trabajo analizo 11 entrevistas con personas relacionadas de alguna manera con el consumo de alcohol. Todos los participantes son habitantes de una comunidad venezolana, San Antonio de los Altos. Los he escogido por la variedad de posturas que tienen con relación al alcohol y por la forma en que se relacionan con su comunidad, siempre a través de esta sustancia. Empleo un análisis retórico y hermenéutico para crear nuevos textos en el sentido de BURKE y BILLIG. Concluyo con una breve reflexión sobre como las varias formas de relacionarse con el alco­hol se encuentran en el mundo de vida (HABER­MAS). Cambios en esta relación parecen pasar por el acceso a nuevos modelos en dicho mundo.
