Dies ist ein Bericht zu einer praktischen Anwendung der Kollektiven Erinnerungsarbeit außerhalb des akademischen Bereichs. Eine Gruppe stellvertretender Leiterinnen in Kindertagesstätten nutzte die Methode für eine intensive Reflexion ihrer beruflichen Praxis. Das Essay beschreibt die Bandbreite der Themen, die die Gruppe in ihrem Projekt entdeckte. Kommentare der Teilnehmerinnen geben einen Eindruck von den Effekten und dem Potential der Kollektiven Erinnerungsarbeit als Mittel (beruflicher) Reflexionsprozesse, hier am konkreten Beispiel institutionalisierter Erziehung. This is an account of a practical application of Collective Memory-Work outside the realms of academia. A group of deputy managers in childcare centres used the method for an intense reflection on their professional practices. The essay describes the topical scope that the group discovered during their Collective Memory-Work project. Participants' voices in the essay give an impression of the effects and the potential of Collective Memory-Work as a means for (professional) reflection processes, here exemplified for the particular environment of institutionalised education.
