Essentially, Japan serves to negotiate central ideological anchor points and, at the same time, to strengthen right-wing extremist resistance. Overall, according to the analysis, the IfS's Japan discourse negotiates the primacy of one’s own identity - ethnic, cultural, sexual, historical, and political.... view less
