In this spirit, my article addresses the question of the anti-colonial dimension of the Black women's movement in Germany: how does it link gendered manifestations of anti-Black racism to the question of neocolonial border regimes grounded in heteropatriarchal anti-Black structures? It shows that the pan-African legacy of transnational Black feminism inscribes anti-colonial praxis within Black feminism in Germany. Here, the border feminism practiced by Black refugee women, lesbians, non-binaries, queers, inter and trans play a crucial role. Their situated critique of border regimes proves to be indicative for an anti-colonial Black feminist praxis and promotes the unfolding of the Black Mediterranean as a space of resistant solidarity.... view less
