Inklusion wie Intersektionalität sind Konzepte, die sich in der Erziehungswissenschaft großer Beliebtheit erfreuen, ermöglichen sie es doch, den Blick auf komplexe soziale Phänomene zu richten. Folgt man dem Vorschlag von einem 'weiten', sozialwissenschaftlich informierten Verständnis von Inklusion, dann bietet es sich auf den ersten Blick an, die Gemeinsamkeiten beider Konzepte in den Blick zu nehmen. Beide Konzepte interessieren sich für das Zusammenspiel von sozialen Differenzkategorien mit Blick auf soziale Ungleichheit. Beide betonen den sozialen Konstruktionscharakter von Differenz. The concepts of inclusion and intersectionality are popular in educational science because they permit an analysis of complex social phenomena. Based on the proposed 'broad' sociological understanding of inclusion, it makes sense to consider the similarities between the two concepts: both are interested in the interplay between social categories of differences; both underline the constructiveness of social differences.
