The objective of this article is to determine the environmental factors that contribute to the existence of social enterprises in Mexico. The study makes use of information from various secondary sources collecting different indicators about that country. The data is analyzed through the use of the Logistic Regression techniques and the results allow us to corroborate a positive and significant effect of access to education and the ease of undertaking in the existence of social enterprises.
