Throughout this text we intend to develop the idea that there is a close structural connection between categories like will, reason, autonomy, freedom, and causality within Kant's practical philosophy. Thus, starting from the identification of will and reason, we will try to demonstrate that this parallelism is possible only through the purification of the will and the attribution of a practical function to reason. However, only the purification of the will not yet be enough to allow the identification between will and reason.
