Ausgehend von der vielfältigen Verwendung des Begriffs "Region" allgemein wie in der Erwachsenenbildung, versucht der Autor vor dem Hintergrund der aktuellen Raumdebatte eine Präzisierung dieses Begriffs. Auf Basis eines geografischen Ansatzes analysiert er die Erwachsenenbildungsliteratur: Der Regionsbegriff vollzieht sowohl in der Wissenschaft als auch in der Politik die Wende "Raus aus dem Container". Der Autor schlägt schließlich in Anlehnung an Schönig "Regionalität" vor, um Region analytisch-interpretativ sowohl aus Subjektperspektive als auch aus organisationaler Planungs- oder politischer Steuerungsperspektive zu beleuchten.... view less
