Innovationsarbeit unter Druck braucht agile Forschungsmethoden: "Smarte Innovationsverlaufsanalyse" als praxisnaher und partizipativer Ansatz explorativer Forschung

Abstract

Der Beitrag stellt im ersten Teil "Smarte Innovationsverlaufsanalyse" als einen methodischen Ansatz im Rahmen eines umsetzungs- und anwendungsorientierten Verbundprojekts vor. Mit agilen Forschungsmethoden wird möglichst "lean", aber trotzdem praxisnah und explorativ das Untersuchungsfeld Innovationsarbeit erforscht und in diesem Forschungsdesign zudem Gestaltungsansätze integriert. Im zweiten Teil geht es darum, dass der partizipative Ansatz im Design - die Befragten sind Experten ihrer Arbeit und Mitgestalter des Forschungsprozesses selbst - neue Fragen aufwirft, wenn Partizipation unter Zeit- und Marktdruck stattfindet. Partizipative Ansätze tragen mitunter selbst dazu bei, Ökonomisierungstendenzen voranzutreiben und können u.U. zum Bumerang für Emanzipationsprozesse werden. Die Autoren adressieren daher eine offene Methodendiskussion und wenden ihre kritische Reflexion beispielhaft an den eigenen Forschungsmethoden an.

This article introduces the "smart innovation process analysis" as an analytic design, which investigates innovation work using agile research methods as well as lean, practical and explorative principles. At the same time the research design integrates implementation aspects. The participative approach of the research design assigns interviewees an expert status of their work and also gives them active parts in designing the research process. Yet, this approach raises new questions, when participation is taking place under time and market pressure. Then participative methods can enhance economic tendencies and in fact backfire on emancipation. The authors address open discussions about used methodologies and apply a critical reflection on their research design.
