El panóptico más allá de vigilar y castigar

Abstract

The Panopticon is assumed as a means that models or determines human activity, taking into account that it has managed to predate the contemporary media, but in turn has managed to transcend them. The principle of inspection is disseminated through the legislative, executive and judicial, trade and school, while the technique is applied through the closed circuit surveillance, satellite, television, film and even the book. The panopticon appropriates other techniques or means and puts them at your service, this is the case of the camera, the mirror, the satellite, the cell phone, the videoconference, the credit card, the radio, the jail, the internet, and all those who are capable of allowing inside them the trace, the imposition of behaviors and print behaviors.

El Panóptico se asume como un medio que modela o determina la actividad humana, teniendo en cuenta que ha logrado ser anterior a los medios contemporáneos de comunicación, pero a su vez ha conseguido trascenderlos. El principio de inspección se difunde por medio del legislativo, ejecutivo y judicial, el comercio y la escuela, mientras la técnica se aplica por intermedio del circuito cerrado de vigilancia, el satélite, la televisión, el cine y aun por el libro. El panóptico se apropia de otras técnicas o medios y los pone a su servicio, este es el caso de la cámara, el espejo, el satélite, el celular, la videoconferencia, la tarjeta de crédito, la radio, la cárcel, el internet, y todos aquellos que sean susceptibles de permitir dentro de ellos la huella, la imposición de comportamientos e imprimir conductas.
