This article presents some results about a project research whose purpose was analyzed the cultural elements related with cultural difference that incorporate traditional textbooks, in order to identify contributions to future educational proposals.Two main categories had been for providing some theoretical bases that underlie: cultural difference and textbooks. The study was conducted from a qualitative approach. It was performed particularly Content Analysis (AC). As results emerged that the textbooks have been immersing themselves in their own community dynamics. The subjects that incorporate the textbooks show critical glances about different situations that ethnic groups have lived, offer the possibility of moving between the past and the present. This research shows a transit from an assimilationist model to a multiculturalist model like option for building an educational work from cultural difference.... view less

Este artículo presenta parte de los resultados de un proyecto de investigación, cuyo propósito fue realizar un análisis sobre los elementos relacionados con la diferencia cultural que incorporan libros de textos tradicionales en la perspectiva de identificar aportes al desarrollo de trabajos pedagógicos sobre el particular. Dos categorías centrales se desarrollan con el ánimo de brindar algunas bases teóricas que lo fundamentan, diferencia cultural y libros de texto. El estudio se desarrolló desde un enfoque cualitativo, particularmente se realizó Análisis de Contenido (AC). Como resultados se destaca que los libros de texto han ido sumergiéndose en las dinámicas propias de las comunidades, ofrecen dentro de sus temáticas unas miradas críticas a las diferentes situaciones por las que los grupos étnicos han atravesado, brindan la posibilidad de transitar entre el pasado y el presente, se encuentra una preocupación por el sujeto y por un lugar para su reconocimiento. El tránsito de un modelo asimilacionista a uno multiculturalista para el trabajo educativo acerca de la diferencia cultural se hace evidente en este estudio.... view less
