La mesa ecuménica por la paz: una expresión de la fe del pueblo empobrecido

Abstract

The Ecumenical Committee for Peace (MEP) made its roots in this prophecy that has continued to move theological thinking, solidarity action, social commitment and liberating political audacity in pastoral and missionary practice of the Christian history of Latin America. It is an action in which various social sectors have been engaging and articulate to help create conditions for peace with justice and equality a reality in Colombia.

La Mesa Ecuménica por la Paz (MEP) hecha sus raíces en ese profetismo que no ha cesado de mover pensamiento teológico, acción solidaria, compromiso social y audacia política liberadora en la práctica pastoral y misionera de la historia cristiana de América Latina. Es una acción en la que diversos sectores sociales se han venido comprometiendo y articulando para ayudar a crear condiciones para que la paz con justicia y equidad sea una realidad en Colombia.
