The article focuses on domestic tourism in developing countries by focusing attention on the clash between its often informal development and urbanization. As a case studya, the coastal area of Beni-Ksila in the west coast of Bejaia (Algeria). The wish through this article is to put, in evidence the persuasions on the advent of tourisms practices in developing societies and the importance of its spatial effects (Icheboubene, 2015; 2016). In the case of Algeria, the public authorities' awareness in recent years of this reality remains very timid. Of course we talk about it, but in practice the actions are slow in coming. Globally, if formerly, some authors and tourism organizations underestimated domestic tourism in developing countries; today many authors, even those who were reluctant in the past, speak about the reality of the phenomenon and its corollary spatial effects.... view less
