A categoria da particularidade como mediação para a produção do conhecimento: contribuições de György Lukács

Abstract

O artigo tem como objetivo apresentar as análises de György Lukács sobre a categoria da particularidade, na sua relação dialética com a universalidade e a singularidade. Trata-se de resultado de estudo teórico acerca da obra do autor, o qual visa explicitar as contribuições da teoria marxista na superação de perspectivas analíticas que supervalorizam ou subestimam a singularidade e a universalidade, assim como daquelas que realizam reducionismos mecanicistas, por desconsiderarem as complexas mediações dialéticas. A busca por suplantar, tanto as generalizações teóricas abstratas, quanto as simplificações, na produção do conhecimento, encontra, na teoria da objetividade do autor húngaro, a ampliação dos fundamentos marxianos sobre a unidade contraditória entre fenômeno e essência. O tertium datur lukacsiano entre a totalidade abstrata e a imediaticidade fragmentada contribui para destacar a necessária apreensão dialética das mediações complexas para a adequada direção da ação humana. O esforço do autor é direcionado para a superação da fetichização empirista, que apaga as contradições mais profundas do ser-propriamente-assim e seu vínculo com as legalidades fundamentais, assim como a fetichização da razão. Nesse sentido, a singularidade, a particularidade e a universalidade são entendidas como categorias lógicas que possuem uma gênese ontológica, por isso, tanto a teoria científica, quanto a teoria estética têm o mesmo referente objetivo, representando, ao mesmo tempo, uma relação de unidade e distinção.

The article aims to present the analyzes of György Lukács on the category of particularity, in its dialectical relation with universality and singularity. This is the result of a theoretical study about the author's work, which aims to make explicit the contributions of Marxist theory in overcoming analytical perspectives that overestimate or underestimate singularity and universality, as well as those that perform mechanistic reductions, for disregarding the complex dialectical mediations. The quest to supplant both abstract theoretical generalizations and simplifications in the production of knowledge finds in the theory of the objectivity of the Hungarian author the extension of the Marxian foundations on the contradictory unity between phenomena and essence. The lukacsian tertium datur between abstract totality and fragmented immediacy contributes to highlight the necessary dialectical apprehension of complex mediations for the proper direction of human action. The author's effort is directed toward overcoming the empiricist fetishization, which erases the deeper contradictions of being-properly-so and its link to fundamental legalities, as well as the fetishization of reason. In this sense, singularity, particularity and universality are understood as logical categories that have an ontological genesis, therefore, both scientific theory and aesthetic theory have the same objective referent, representing at the same time a relation of unity and distinction.
