En este artículo se discute el neoliberalismo como un modelo político de repercusiones económicas, sociales y culturales que sirve de fundamento a un proceso de globalización económica de grandes grupos empresariales cuya característica principal es la exclusión de países y regiones, principalmente en el mundo subdesarrollado. Asimismo, son analizados los principales estragos en la población mayoritaria del planeta y en especial en el llamado Tercer Mundo, destacándose la clausura de expectativas para pueblos enteros y un proceso de indudable disolución de la unidad constitutiva del Estado y de los capitales nacionales. This article discusses Neoliberalism as a political model whlch has economic, social and cultural repercussions that may be seen as the foundation of a process of economic globalization promoted by large corporations. Its main characteristic is the exclusión of underveloped regions and countries from its benefits. It also analyzes the main negative consequences of this process on the major world population, specifically the one who inhabits the so called Third World, thus bringing to an end its expectations as well as the dissolution of the unity of the national State and capital.
