Simulación, realidad y desafío de la globalidad

Abstract

Este artículo intenta definir el alcance del término "globalidad" en nuestros días. No quiere sugerir que nada en el mundo actual merezca ser llamado "global"; existe una interrelación creciente entre culturas y naciones. Sin embargo, este hecho está acompañado por construcciones discursivas que surgen del discurso de la modernidad. Sólo analizando esta dimensión discursiva se llegará a entender lo que significa la globalidad actual.

This árdele attempts to define the scope of the term "globality" in our days. It does not mean to suggest that the term "global" doesn't deservedly desígnate things in our modem world; there is an increasing interreladon between nations and cultures. However, this fact is adorned with discursive constructions sprung from the discourse of modernity, and the full breath of globality today can only be ascertained through the analysis of these discursive edifices.
