En este artículo se muestra la imposibilidad de trasladar los hechos, tal y como se dan en la realidad, al relato periodístico. Para ello se compara el orden de los acontecimientos en la historia con el orden de los acontecimientos en el texto periodístico. El tiempo de la historia es pluridimensional; en cambio, el del relato es lineal. Las anacronías son utilizadas en el relato periodístico no sólo porque la linealidad del lenguaje lo exige para expresar la pluridimensionalidad de lo que sucede en la historia, sino también porque a través de ellas el relato periodístico explica y contextualiza los acontecimientos. This article shows the impossibility of translating events, just as they ocurr in reality, to journalistic aaccounts. In order to do this, it compares the sequence of events in history with those of journalistic texts. Time in history is pluri-dimensional; in contrast, journalistic account is lineal. Anacronies are used in journalistic accounts not only because the lineal character of language demands it in order to express the pluri-dimensionality of what happens in history, but also because through them journalistic accounts explain and contextualize events. The analysis of temporal order in journalistic accounts makes evident the manipulation which the narrator realizes when reconstructing reality.... view less
